Bull Retrieved from Well
Maccy D, the prime breeding bull, became stuck down the well on Hill Farm in Belbroughton, Worcester, and had to be winched to safety by fire and rescue teams.
Responding to the call from owner Alan Fairbairn, Alex Mackie, from Hereford and Worcester Fire service, said the bizarre rescue required a specialist team normally used for saving trapped people from derelict buildings… Once it was secure Maccy D was hoisted out of the well and was fine apart from a few scratches on his legs.
