
Dog Rescued from Pond (dinghy)
Auburn, ME—A pair of Auburn firefighters pulled a dog [from Androscoggin River on Tuesday]. The dog named Ginger was returned to its owners Tuesday night with no injuries. It spent between 15-20 minutes in the water, said Battalion Chief Richard McFadden… [The dog] was swimming in open water about 150 feet from shore and couldn’t get back onto the ice that extended from the edge of the river, said Capt.
